This summer, we’re leaning into retro, but not the obvious version.
Lately, we’ve been pulling a lot of patterns like these, soft checkerboards, easy stripes, muted polka dots, and those slightly offbeat geometrics that feel familiar but not overly nostalgic. They all nod to mid-century and ‘70s design, but in a way that feels… edited.

The checkerboards feel sun-washed instead of high contrast.
The dots are oversized and slightly irregular.
The stripes have movement, almost brushed on rather than perfectly printed.
And the geometrics? Less rigid, more relaxed.
It’s retro influence, just not in a way that feels predictable.
This is for the client who wants something a little out of the box, something that still reads classic at a glance, but has enough personality to keep you looking twice.
