Happy National Color Day! Today is for anyone who believes in living life out loud, and in full color. At Chelsea Lane & Co., we’ve seen firsthand how a splash of color, whether it’s a bold wallpaper or just a hint of print, can completely transform both a space and your mood.
But here’s the real secret: it’s not just about what’s on the walls. It’s about how you feel when you walk into a room that truly reflects you. To celebrate, we’re taking you behind the scenes of some of our most colorful installs, and sharing how it felt for our team to help bring these vibrant visions to life.
First up: a full-service transformation led by our founder herself, Chelsea Lane. One of the biggest standouts? The client’s laundry room, which went from total blank slate to statement-making. Chelsea shares:
“This laundry room started out as a total blank slate, and the client wasn’t sure how much personality to add. We looked at a few options, but when we landed on Harlequin Melora, everything came together. Helping the client embrace a bold print and color made all the difference; the space now feels pulled together, vibrant, and anything but ordinary.”

Next, meet Regan—our resident Palm Beach pattern matchmaker and design assistant. Regan helped transform a client’s rental property into a true tropical escape, gently encouraging a leap into color and pattern. She says:
“Helping this client turn their guest room into a Palm Beach-inspired escape was such a highlight for me. At first, they were a little nervous about going bold, but once we landed on Thibaut’s Sand Dollar wallpaper, everything clicked. This wallpaper paired perfectly with the already leafy pillows and existing accents in the room. The playful pops of color made the space feel fresh, happy, and totally unforgettable. Seeing their excitement, and knowing their guests might never want to leave, is exactly why I love what I do.”

And last but never least, let’s talk about Ariel—our wallpaper wizard and showroom manager, whose knack for pairing clients with the perfect print is legendary. Ariel recently worked with a client looking to bring new life to her dining room with just the right finishing touch. Ariel recalls:
“This dining room was begging for something out of the ordinary, so we went all in with Mokum’s La Palma in coral. I loved watching the client’s excitement grow as the paper went up. Suddenly, the whole room felt lively, playful, and full of Palm Beach energy.”
